Like many, i am searching for the meaning of it all.. the mystery of God and life, and would like to exchange thoughts and ideas with others and experiences in connection with life, religion, and the purpose of our existence.  My religious background is very complex, having been raised in a very dogmatic cult-like environment, from which it took me a long time to finally escape.  Consequently, i have done a lot of soul-searching and reading to try and come to some kind of logical conclusion, and believe that God is about Freedom of thought and expression which are the right of everyone, and that we are all interconnected - in some small way, and that God's love is unconditional and his spirit will give us the freedom to be ourselves and to grow in his image, as we were meant to be ...at peace and happy. I believe that God can be found everywhere - the laughter of a child, nature, peace, we just need to open our spiritual eyes - a gift from God, and see life through the eyes of a child.. I still am looking for answers and it is my hope that others might have had similar experiences and would be willling to share them with me.
