About Me
I have been a member for some time, but have only recently begun to socialize here.
I enjoy philosophy & religion, computers (esp. Linux, Web programming), fishing, role playing games (paper & dice - I am Old School!), astronomy, poetry (reading & writing), clubbing and sci fi. I have travelled most of the US and some countries in Europe and would like to travel more, but I also enjoy being home in my "Sanctuary".
My musical tastes vary from Classical, Electronica, 80's Pop, Gregorian Chant to Punk.
I feel I am a mix of the Conventional and Radical in thought and taste.
I like people and hope to chat with some of you :)
My Basics
Gender: Male
Occupation: Computer Technician
Relationship Status: Single
Faiths:
Christian,
Faith Description: I have had a variety of faith affiliations in my life. I was raised Roman Catholic and attended Catholic elementary and high school, became Agnostic as an early teen, converted to Pentecostalism at 17, left that tradition in college where I became interested in Buddhism (particularly Zen) and was a Philosophy & Theology major. I became a Reform Jew and attended synagogue for a time. I enjoy learning about various religious traditions and have tried to have a personal experience of the worship and practices of many more sects/faiths than I have listed here. I would have to label myself in general as a Religious Existentialist and in particular as a non-affiliated Christian that enjoys investigating other spiritual traditions (especially Judaism & Buddhism).

I Have Been Remiss, In My Availability Of Late!!! - March 11, 2008 - 12:39 PM
Hello Valkor of Beliefnet! I hope all has been well with you! I have taken a few of life's little punches, and needed a breather, to recollect my thoughts and my strength. But now I am back and better than ever. So I am reconnecting with all my friends on a personable level. I always feel a personal note or comment, goes alot longer way, than a journal entry for all to read. It shows I am thinking and praying for you! We all need that in our lives, for we are much more alike than we choose to admit too! We are all sociable beings, and need other human contact! I hope and trust all has been well with you! If you need an ear, I am hear for you! Peace & Love be With You!
