About Me
I'm blissfully married to my best friend, soulmate and co-creator, and blessed mama of four awesome children, ages 5 years down to 1 month... They are my gurus. (And my monkey circus.)
We're an unschooling family with definite leanings toward Radical Unschooling, and I am striving every day to adopt the principle of consensual living into my parenting and life. I am always seeking a more natural, earth-friendly, healthy, and sustainable lifestyle in whatever small ways I can. I am striving to live in harmony: with my Self, with the Earth, and with the Universe.
I'm a panentheistic Unitarian Universalist with roots in Torah-observance and Christianity, whose walk is still informed by those ideas and traditions; exploring Paganism (earth-based), Gnostic beliefs, and mysticism. I believe that everything is connected, and that we are all powerful spiritual beings.
~*~

"There is, of course, this matter of being afraid to give freedom to young children. I believe they have that within themselves which makes it possible for them to meet the world and life, and interpret it more nearly aright than can we. They carry with them that inheritance of faith and imagination undimmed; and that tremendous surging desire to know, to see, to feel and to do, which is rarely betrayed. In our desire as adults to lay hold of a child's life, to grip it, mold it to our own values, we do unwittingly a great harm. We confront children with our own fears, our own lack of faith; to safeguard them we attempt to thrust between them and life those many false illusions which we have picked up in our own twisting, turning way. Children take a far more advantageous highroad. A free child is a happy child; and there is nothing more lovely . . ."

I was raised with a patriarchal image of God but I've always known, intellectually, that there is a Divine Feminine. Even the Jewish...
