About Me
For the longest time since I was young I wanted to expand my knowledge of other belifes and how connected we really are. I started reading about other religions in a book by Huston Smith. This is when I came across Buddhism and started looking around for a more down to earth personalized denomination of Buddhism. This was when I started meeting friends, became a member, and just recieved my Gohonzon March 28, 2008.

I'm new to this website, but joined SGI in 1986. I taught the Bible for twenty years before realizing that it's teachings were proprietary, that is, it worked for some, but not for all. When I found SGI, I immediately said, "That's what I've been looking for!"
