My favorite book is "Forever Amber" by Kathleen Winsor.

My family. My children are a constant source of inspiration. My family, and I mean my entire family, is a strong, close knit group. No matter how many times I fall or how far I fall, they are always there for me to lean on until I can stand on my own.
Who I'm praying for:
My family & friends, and guidance for myself.
What is your current spiritual mood?:
Humbled
What's your spiritual type?:
Spiritual Straddler - I have one foot in traditional religion, one foot in free-form spirituality.
About Me
For those of you who have seen the movie "Pleasantville", you will be able to imagine what I mean when I say that I grew up in a small town much like that and in much the same way. My childhood was truly idealistic. I have 3 older brothers, which makes me not only the youngest but also the only girl. My brothers were born within 4 years of each other and I was born about 10 yrs. later. I lived there till I was 19 when one of my brothers (who works for AT&T)called to say that they were doing some hiring in Atlanta & I should come interview. I did, and got the job. I worked for BellSouth for 23 yrs. and just recently quit to be home with my boys. During those 23 yrs. I married and have 2 very handsome boys. My boys are growing up so quickly and now I find myself trying to find my place in the world. Until recently I had been able to wrap my identity up in this little world. For the first time in my life I truly feel vulnerable.
My Basics
Location: Lawrenceville, Georgia, USA
Gender: Female
Relationship Status: Rather Not Say
Faiths:
Christian,
Faith Description: My faith is based off things I learned when I was young. My paternal grandfather was a Methodist minister. My mother was raised as a member of the Church of Christ. As I became older, my mother was diagnosed with breast cancer & a neighbor started taking me to church with them, Southern Baptist. I attended a Catholic school & had a good deal of exposure to the Catholic faith. With all the exposure to different faiths, the one constant is Chritianity. I try to keep my mind open to all points of view, & because of that & a couple of good religious debates(which I love as long as respect for each persons opinion is maintained), I identify with many Native American practices & beliefs.
