Who Inspires Me:
The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), true believers, ppl who remember God in this increasingly forgetful world, devout christians, converts to Islam, ppl who are aware of the limits of human knowledge and come to that awareness in spite of our scientific discoveries, ppl who question the religion of their forefathers and who observe and reflect on the world around themselves as part of their journey to seek Him and know the Truth, ppl who ignore emotional biases when seeking the Truth

Non-muslim friends to be guided, all my friends, all of the world to be guided, my family, muslims in palestine, muslims suffering for the sake of their religion, all muslims, THE UMMAH to be united

About Me
I was born a Muslim and have always believed. Although I had always believed, I've never really practiced outside of learning a couple surahs and praying whenever it was convenient, which wasn't often. After my first year of college, I was introduced to Christianity through some friends I had met who were arabic speaking Coptic Orthodox Christians from egypt. Until meeting them, i've never heard anyone attack islam and the things they said shook my faith like i didtn' think was possible. But those attacks motivated me to really learn about the religion as well as christianity in a search for the truth. If I were going to call myself muslim, i'd have to prove to myself that it was indeed the truth: i couldn't just accept it because my parents were muslim. That year changed my life to the point where I can't even recognize who I was before then. I know I have a lot more knowledge to gain, and always will, but I have gained a faith I had been blind to my whole life. I FOUND THE TRUTH! And the truth is that THERE IS NONE WORTHY OF WORSHIP BUT ALLAH (SWT), AND MOHAMMAD (PEACE AND BLESSINGS BE UPON HIM) IS HIS FINAL MESSENGER. Insha'Allah my heart will remain firm in faith until the day i die.
Since then i've been trying harder (but i sitll have work to do) to be as righteous of a servant as I can, and I pray that The Most-Merciful blesses my efforts and forgives my shortcomings. I pray that someday Allah (SWT) uses me to show my friends the truth and all of us together show the rest of the world, let Allah (SWT)'s will be done.
I thank Allah (SWT) everyday for the blessing of guidance, and I pray that He continues to guide me and that he guides everyone I come into contact with and whoever reads this.

I am taking a class at the college I'm attending... It's being taught by Imam Johari... he seems very knowledgable and very passionate, according to the co-professor who is the director of religious studies he is also the media relations person for his mosque... He is going to be teaching the course next semester
