About Me
Greetings! I am a mandala artist from Northwest Montana, working primarily in acrylics on canvas, but also make Luminous Mandalas in the Judith Cornell style. I am a student of Paul Huessenstamm (www.mandalas.com), I've been painting with him and other students for the past 3 years in Hawaii. I am also a teacher of painting Mandalas, having branched into that area in the last year. I spent most of last winter painting the White Buffalo Calf Woman fiberglass buffalo (near full size) that is displayed in the city of West Yellowstone, gateway to the National Park. Mandalas have been a literal life saver (a round candy or life saving device) for me, keeping me sane through several years of emotional and physical pain. When I paint the mandala I am able to transcend the pain and go to my happy place, a painting meditation. A Transcendental Medication.
My Basics
Gender: Female
Occupation: Artist, painter and teacher
Relationship Status: Married
