as far as Movies.....Chick flicks like Somethings Gotta Give, When Harry Met Sally, As Good as it Gets. I enjoyed The Dark Knight with my son this summer. I like most anything Nicole Kidman does, w/ the exception of probably Fur. Like Jack Nicholson in everything...also Russell Crowe's films....enjoy Ocean's all sequels. Last year enjoyed Blood Diamond...and American Gangster. I like a wide variety. Books, I like David McCullough's books...various history...read mostly Christian authors.
Who Inspires Me:
God, plus a handful of amazing friends I've met along the way, .....and Sarah Palin! (so there.)

About Me
Certain aspects of Beliefnet have driven me near crazy! Not sure why I venture back in spurts. Mostly needing some down time, yet can't stare at a TV or a wall for too long. The Chrisitianity Debate is sparse in Christians, the Political sites are completely unbalanced and vitriolic. :) Yet....at times, I stop in, and have done so for about 7 years.
In real life.....I love life.....like to laugh. I love the outdoors, sports and fitness...I adore the changing seasons. I enjoy entertaining and being with friends. I'm a church member, though, I've weened myself from an overly involved church life, but remain a strong believer. I search for authenticity in Christians and Christianity. My house has been in process of remodeling and/or refinishing for the last two years. I'm learning I like the process. In it I see our innate sense of thrill and satisfaction at the site of "all things" being "made new"....reminds me of God's work in human lives. "He makes all things new..." & "In Him I am a new creation"....I find reflections of God almost every where I look.....reflections of His truths. They are rippled throughout creation.
I have children who amaze and bless me. ...and that is definitely the richest part of my life!
