About Me
Hello to All~
I have joined so that I can occasionally post comments on certain topics of interest. I have been reading different messages via e-mail from Beliefnet for sometime. I think that spirituality is an extremely important~ often overlooked~ part of a full life. In my work with people in recovery, I make use of this aspect of the work because the 12 step model respects this. In other areas of my work, however, I am cautious and respectful about ever introducing the subject unless the person I am counseling brings it up. I consider myself to be a woman of faith and I believe that our actions usually speak for themselves anyway, so I think anyone who knows me can see my values clearly demonstrated.

Gloria, Thank you for your wonderful comment on my page, so lovely! It was nice to read your kind words about George Harrison, and your personal experiences too. I had no such experiences, but did develop a great respect for him - someone who 'had' to live in the material world in a sense (as he pointed out in one of his songs hehe) but yet he managed to practice Krishna Consciousness. Many don't know this (you might) but he even offered to shave his head and move into the temple ashrama, but Prabhupada told him no, that he should instead, write songs about Krishna, which is what he did! :) Anyhow, that's on my web page about them, which is on my beliefnet front page. Oh dear, this is getting wordy. ha Ok, one more link you and others might like is a Beatles link and Krishna: http://www.prabhupadaconnect.com/PhotoAlbum292.html It has some nice pics of them too. Anyway, drop me an email anytime! :) Nice to meet you. Take care. ~ Namaste, Priitaa
