Growing up, my father was Catholic and my mother was Protestant . I was baptized a Methodist and was married in the Episcopalian Church. I have learned that the issue for me is not the name of the religion but simply the organized aspect. Not that I am judging organized religion, since it serves the greater good for many people, it just never seemed to be right for me. Today, I am a student of Reiki and a person who has found comfort in the "old" pratices. Whether it be Shamanism, Paganism, Druidism or energy healing it seems they all feel familiar, probably because they are. I believe that many roads lead to the same source the question just becomes which does a person enjoy traveling on the most.

  The purpose for joining this website is to surround myself with positive energy and to meet as many like minded people as possible.

  This will probably send most students of astrology running in the other direction but one does not have to go to great lengths to learn about my personality. I was born under the Sign of Scorpio and reading just about any description written about Scorpio is like reading a story a dear friend would have wrote. Generally speaking, I am the embodiment of the good, bad and everything in between of the eighth house of the Zodiac.

  I have always loved the worlds mysteries and even though I am a fan of sports (mostly Hockey and Soccer) I will usually pass up the game for a good PBS or History Channel special. As my screen name suggests I am a huge fan of Lord of the Rings (Long before the Movie) and most fantasy writing. I firmly believe that the parallels that can be found in Fantasy writing and Spiritualism are not coincidence. Some authors are just better channelers then they realize.
