I love Anne Rice's The Vampire Chronicles, but I only tend to read those if I need an escape. Normal reading for me is intensive on non-fiction and philosophical/political fiction...things like histories, poetry, general non-fiction, Brave New World, 1984, Ayn Rand, The Jungle, and so on.
Movies: i enjoy philosophical drama, psychlogical thrillers (it has to get into my head to scare me), documentaries, comedies a la Will Ferrell, and various little odds and ends in between.

As corny as it sounds, my family and friends inspire me. They show me God's grace on a daily basis.

Faith Description: I am a believer and follower of the teachings of Jesus Christ. I believe that Jesus is our new covenant, that as such, to follow the old covenant, as outlined in the Old Testament, is an insult. Thus, I feel that the teachings of Leviticus and of the Epistles are not relevant, especially since they are hypocritical. I also use some of the techniques of meditation created by the Buddhists and Hindus, such as Yoga, Ayurveda, and utilization of the Chakras.
