About Me
I am 29 years old. Depression has been both a nurturing, faithful friend and a cold drill sergeant. For almost 3 decades now, I have struggled to figure out who I really am--all while recuperating from the trauma of emotional, mental, and physical abuse from family and/or boyfriends. It's been a beautifully painful process, and I try to use it all to my advantage. I'm reflective, so everything that happens means something to me. I make sure that every experience, every hurt, every joy, every THING helps me grow both into and out of myself. And there are no coincidences.
"Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he." - Proverbs 29:18
"Whatever is true, whatever is honest, whatever is just, whatever is
pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report,
if there be any virtue and if there be anything worthy of praise, think
on these things."
- Philippians 4:8
