I love Beliefnet and have been a visitor to the site since 2000. I grew up Episcopalian and joined the Baha'i Faith in 1986. I'm thankful to have been raised with a firm belief in God and love for Jesus.

I wasn't searching for a new religion when I met Baha'is in Florida and started learning about the Faith. After talking with my friends, attending Baha'i gatherings and reading Baha'i books, I found that my heart resonated with what I was learning. I knew it was True - that all the world religions are brought by the same loving Creator and that the Baha'i Faith and the Teachings of Baha'u'llah are the next stage in the unfolding Plan of God -- creating an ever-advancing civilization and the Kingdom of God on Earth.

It isn't always easy being a Baha'i! But I continue to strive to be my best and pray for God's assistance and grace.
