I am an ordained Southern Baptist minister currently pastor of a small non-denominational church near Galatia Il, I am a member of the local ministerial alliance (GGMA), I'm in active cooperation with Illinois Baptist Childrens Home and Family Services, and do volunteer counseling with local parolees (in cooperation with Lutheran Social Services)
My favorite spiritual activities:
Study of God's Word, attempting to learn ancient Greek and Hebrew languages, sharing my faith with others, counseling and assisting addicts and alcoholics find their way back to spiritual, emotional, and physical fulness.Also currently studying "Biblical Directionism" counseling(on-line)course from Masters International School of Divinity

43 year old pastor of a small congregation in southern Illinois and I have one adult daughter,who is 21 years old,in college..and to enter medical school soon. And a new beliefnet member.(brittni04)
I just happened upon this site while browsing other Christian websites.Signed up out of curiosity mainly,but I am so grateful that God led me here.I am greatly blessed by the Express Yourself group, the many who post in this group are so ready to pray with one another,and console those who are hurting,and praise our Heavenly Father, and edify all Belivers of The Way.
I have also joined a new group "A Place to Turn" that is proving to be a real blessing.The administrator is,I believe,a true disciple of Christ and has used even her physical trials to grow closer to the One True and Living God.I believe you too will be blessed by this group.
I,myself, have been miraculously delivered from alcoholism and drug addiction 100% (even though some say that is impossible) and feel that a big part of God's call on my life,is helping others through the physical,emotional,and spiritual crises that comes along with the bondage of chemicals.If you are,or know someone who is,fighting the battle with addiction,I am happy to help in any way I can.Feel free to stop by or sign up for the "Fighting Addictions"group.
