About Me
I'm Todd Havens ("Hi, Todd!")...who said that?...and am a new contributor to Beliefnet, primarily in the Idol Chatter entertainment blog.
Raised in the Midwest with no religious indoctrination, I had
life-changing experiences a few years back of a
gnostic/mystic/enlightenment/satori/etc. (whatever you wish to call it)
nature and have since been fascinated with the connection between inner
spirituality and external religious practice. I am now an ordained minister of the International Metaphysical Ministry and am working toward a ministerial degree in Mystic Research.

Guide to Personal Enlightenment. I also moderate a Spiritual Book Group at seekerscircle.com.
I currently live in Los Angeles and work in the entertainment industry
as a writer with a background in pr/marketing and casting (for
commercials and reality shows) and a million other things that have all been part of the amazing, and often hilarious, journey.
