About Me
I have been recieving beliefnet newsletters for about a year and they have been instrumental in keeping my focus of being a positive spirit. I joined to be of service to others and to share with a variety of people. I enjoy lively discussions and learning what people of different faiths, ethnicities and experiences have to say on personal and global issues. I like politics, reading, writing and performing poetry. I have a revolutionary spirit. I am always looking for ways to balance the scales of justice. I am a deep thinker, but always looking for ways to lighten up. I am looking for others to have fun with. I am open to learning from others and seeing how others contribute to creating joy within themselves and others. I am at a transitional time in my life. Trying new things, letting old ones go and dustings off things I used to do. It is both a challenging and fun time. I have 3 girls, one in college, another in high school and the youngest in middle school. I have had many careers, a caterer, I made wedding cakes, I have managed many different eateries. I then began working in various positions in a YWCA, domestic assault shelter worker, counselor and sexual assault crisis worker. I have trained Healing Racism facilitators. Now, I educate individuals, small business owners and companies to provide affordable legal services to people who ordinarily would check their wallets befor their rights. It is a fun way to help people while making a living. I like old movies and soap operas. My guilty pleasure is coloring and having my own 120 count box of crayons. I am excited to meet others.

Faith Description: I am solid in my belief in God and I respect other faiths. I chose to follow Jesus Christ. It has been a purposeful journey for me. I have grown into my faith in Jesus Christ. I am less resistant and much more grateful. The more I study, hear and live in the Word the more meaning my life has and the more I seek a better understanding of my purpose.
