About Me
Well, its Valentine's Day and I don't have a special woman in my life to share the love that flows from my heart and spirit. It seems to be a recurring theme with me. The last several Valentine's have been the same. I meet women and then we go through the process of discovering that we are not compatable.
My female friends say that I'm a "keeper" and my sister says that some day I'll be a great husband and father (based on my relationship with my nieces).
Anyway, I treated myself to Thai food for lunch, visited a sick, lonely friend in the hospital and actually allowed myself to take a two hour nap during the late afternoon. I'll top off this day by watching a romantic comedy starring Ben Stiller called The Heartbreak Kid. Laughter is medicine for the spirit.
The truth is that my life journey hasn't been an easy one. I don't have much in terms of worldly possessions or achievements. What I do have is a good mind, heart and spirit. Can't put a price tag on that.
I'm hoping to meet an attractive woman with a radiant heart. A woman who's spiritual eyes are open to truth and beauty. A woman who can see beyond the superficialities that seem to drive our society.
btw, my username, Bashert, is a Yiddish word that means "your intended one" - 69 is my birth year.
