I am a converted Catholic (1999) and am active in my church, as a lector and Eucharistic Minister. I married a wonderful man who supports me in whatever I chose to do. I have 1 daughter and 3 grandchildren who live a distance from me. I had 3 abortions 30 years ago and because the Lord has healed me from my wounds, my children will be Silent No More! I wanted to join Beliefnet because I feel that this website has been helpful in my journey. I am thankful that I have the opportunity to share my story as this was a promise I made to the Lord. Jesus is the Ultimate Healer, and His love is merciful and good. He will always be with us even though we may not know it at the time. The Lord gives us many choices and anxiously awaits for our invitation to come into our lives. When we choose to have God come into our lives, then we will know and feel His peace! Our journey here on earth is short, but our goal is to be with Jesus in paradise. Isn't that the promise he made on the cross to theif? I yearn for that day when I can be with the Lord, but until then, I will do my best to walk like a Christian or (Christlike). Glory and honor to Jesus Christ, the King of Kings.
