About Me
I love to dialogue and this site appears to offer just that opportunity. My membership in SGI-USA started in June, 1986. For twenty years I was a card-carrying member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, even served a mission for two years in Brasil. The more I studied and taught the Bible, the more I realized that it appeared to be proprietary - it worked for some people, but not for others. When I came upon this Buddhism, I recognized right away that this was the humanistic philosophy I had been seeking all my life. Herbbie Hancock's entry is awesome in explaining this practice. It really is a law, in that it works every time for everyone that applies it.
