Hello, My name is Linda. I really don't know anything about St Francis of Assisi. I sang this prayer for a wedding about 30 years ago. I was not saved at the time, but I loved the song. Now that I'm born again the words leap out at me. I've tried to remember the tune, but I can't. I will keep trying. But the words are beautiful and Now are my hearts desire.

Earlier on this group I mentioned I was writing a book that incorporated the legacy of Francis into contemporary conflict resolution. Finally, that project is done. Taming the Wolf is now available for those interested. And I am happy to discuss the work, should any have a passion for this topic.
