I believe that God is, consists of God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit in one essence; that God the Son was crucified, died and in three days was resurrected. He paid for my sins. I believe that Christ is a living God, hears my prayers and worship and is active in my life.
I am a wife, mother and grandmother with the majority of my social life being with my family. I have been married to my present husband for 5 years, having lost the love of my life for 40 years and the father of my children to cancer over 15 years ago. My present husband also lost his wife of 40 years to cancer 7 years ago and we have found a companionship with each other. We do a good bit of travel and have made some very nice trips in our motorhome, the best being driving to Alaska in 2003, spending 73 days on the road and enjoyed it tremendously. The Spring of 2007 we toured 22 states and September 2008 we toured six states and now only have 1 state to go and we will have visited the entire beautiful United States of America. We have also visited England, France, Scotland and Ireland since our marriage. Before that, in earlier years with my first husband I have lived in Hawaii, England, Japan, and Turkey. It has been a most interesting life so far.
I love people and have many interesting email friends, all of whom share my belief in God and who pray for our country which seems to be on the brink of going down as the USA and becoming a part of a union of countries . We also share a belief in the soon coming of Christ as we study our Bibles and learn of things happening around the world today. I always value and enjoy the opinions and viewpoints of others.
My children, some grandchildren, some grt. grandchildren, and my husband and I meet together one night a week to fellowship, share a meal and study a Bible subject together. It is a great blessing in my life. I am very blessed with 5 wonderful children, all whom live nearby. There are 12 grandchildren, also all nearby with the exception of 2, one who lives in Pa.and one who lives in Michigan. I also have 6 grt grandchildren. I am thankful that all whom are old enough have at some point in their lives expressed belief in the Lord Jesus Christ and were baptized. My husband has 3 children , 5 grandchildren, and 3 grt grandchildren. His children also are Christians so we are thankful every day for our blessings..
I enjoy friends who love the Lord as I do and enjoys Bible study. I also enjoy friends who love painting and art and sharing that special bond that comes from understanding what joy it is to paint a subtle reflection in water, or a color reflected under the chin of a person, or to put that little spark of life in the pupil of a portrait's eye. Others who travel by motor home as we do also have a lot in common to exchange.
Hope you have a very happy birthday! Smiles, Pat
