Dear pitbull, Thank you for your request to be friends,I am honored.I think it's great that you're studying Judaism.I am a Christian who feels blessed to be learning more about My Saviours religion.I feel that this world would be so much better off if we would learn why other people believe what we believe, take it in our heart and learn not to be frustrated because they're not exactly like us.In church yesterday the preacher spoke of how Jews use the old testament(Genesis thru Malachi)in their worship.I tend to like the new testament cause that's where my Jesus's words are but I realize the Old Testament gives the laws that Jesus wants us to live by and foretells His birth and life. I understand your excitement about your studies and I wish you many blessing in that area of your life.I get excited about drawing, painting and creating and could do without food etc...and stay by myself for a while when I start a new project. But I have to ask God to calm me down or I'd go crazy or have a heart attack! And He always does.I believe God answers prayer from a sincere heart and I never take it for granted when He does(although I do forget that I ask for something if it's trivial)I don't understand Aetheists, pagans etc...how do they live without God?It makes me sad for them!Do they really believe we just popped up out of no where.I'm glad I'm on beliefnet and I do read what they post but I also quickly go to another area when they speak of crystals and Mother Earth etc... I don't eat pork or beef(unless it's an accident)when you go to a restaraunt they seem to think chicken dishes are not right unless they have some BACON! in them)I haven't (intentionally)eaten pork or beef in about 28yrs.I'm not a vegetarian though cause I do eat chicken, eggs, fish(mostly canned tuna and salmon)and seafood if I go to Red Lobster(once every couple of years)That is so cool that you are a retired chef!I bet there's some good eating at your house!Hope to hear from you soon! Your Friend, cheryl3

I look forward to interchanges with you. It appears that you have much to share. I am particularly interested in how the Psalms have touched your life.
