They took the whole Indian Nation,placed us on this reservation, took away our way of life, the tomahawk and the bow and knife,took away our Native tongue,taught their English to our young.I pray that Native Americans rise up and take their places, and once again feel pride for the great people they are.I myself share a rich Cherokee heritage and I am very proud of it. Enlightenment ,Father God ,to us all please.

This is a patch for the American Indian Movement. It is still quite active and appears to be an object of constant surveillance by the FBI. They can't leave us Indians alone, now can they? We can't even have movements that support us. Are we supposed to just be "humble" and grovel under the mighty gaze of the Bureau of Indian Affairs and its master, the federal government? I don't think so!!
