Tabby-gene (left) is a three legged friend who we rescued from a shelter. At first she hissed at anyone who looked at her, but after a year, she became quite the lap cat. Nutmeg (right) was another rescue. Very shy, it only took her about a week before she became playful. Now she sleeps at the foot of the bed.
