I am a seeker of Understanding. The primary way of reaching this Understanding is through the use of philosophical inquiry. When we philosophize about reality we employ the use of Logic. Logic leads us on a step by step path toward Reason. When we reach Reason we see the Truth. It is by the power of Truth that we receive Understanding. When that Understanding we received through Truth by Reason is applied to the life that we live, Wisdom is the result. Thus the practice of philosophy is the means by which we become one with the ultimate Source of reality, the one that not merely possesses the attributes of Logic, Reason, Understanding, or Wisdom, but exists as the very substance and essence of that which is truly the Logic, Reason, Understanding, and Wisdom; and a plethora of everything that one may call "good" and "admirable".
My purpose on this message board is for seeking after enlightened philosophical insight into the Truth of reality. This will be accomplished through the use of questions that are meant to provoke deep and meditative thought. No doubt some of this questioning may offend certain individuals, not unlike Socrate's use of interrogative questioning that finally ended his life, but I assure everyone here that my intent is not to offend but to understand. And the Understanding that I seek is not for insight into religious belief systems, but rather for the one and only Truth.
May we all be benefitted and blessed as we allow ourselves to be guided by the light of Reason.
