Faith Description: I was raised Episcopalian, but left the church at age 17 and discovered Buddhism while living in Japan. Although I returned to my Episcopal roots thirteen years ago, my spirituality still includes a lot of Buddhist philosophy (especially Zen Buddhism). In the last five years, I have joined a Anglican Franciscan Religious Order (the Third Order of St. Francis) and was introduced to the spiritual teachings of Thomas Merton, Richard Rohr, Eckhart Tolle and Thomas Keating.
