For years my wife, Jamey, and I have lived with a major chronic illness that invaded her body and devastated our lives emotionally, psychologically, spiritually, and financially. But we're not alone, millions of couples live with chronic illnes and disease (chronic illness, disease, pain, mental disorders, etc.). We have uploaded free audio clips and a free caregiving workshop for anyone who wants it at our website (couplesfacingillness.com). That's our way of supporting other couples facing illness. We've also written a book that gives insights and practical tips to couples living with illness. Our book is unique because it covers both sides, the caregiver and the patient.
