I saw the documentary Wretches and Jabberers last Saturday. It's about two adult men with autism, ages 42 and 52. They each have a helper who has worked with about 18-20 years, who only learned to communicate with others these last 15-18 years, by typing. The four of them have traveled the world as autism advocates. The went to Sri Lanka, Japan and Denmark (I believe it was) and met with other younger individuals with autism who learned to communicate the way they did, by typing.

It might be the most moving film I have ever seen. I highly recommend it, and am sure I will get a DVD when it comes out. A must see.
