Blessings come to us in many various ways. Each day we should be thankful for the many blessings that fill our lives. The homes we live in, the friends we have, the family we can share special moments with, the beauty we can take in just from the comfort of our own homes.

Years ago, many people may not have been thinking in this way. They may have taken their homes, friends, family, and blessings for granted, and not thought two shakes about how very blessed they were.

But then, a life-altering event happens, and suddenly there is a light-bulb that goes on in many a head and heart.

We must learn to treasure the people in our lives. They are God's blessings to us. The good and the bad; the annoying and the irritating; the screamers and the whisperers; the complainers and the whiners

The good and the bad; the annoying and the irritating; the screamers and the whisperers; the complainers

Today's Bible Study is on the word, “countenance”.

For those of you who are joining in on this Bible Study, if you have spiritual discernment, you should be able to discern changes in a person's countenance. If you have not spent time focusing on the countenance of those people you come in contact with, this may be a good time for you to start practicing the art of the spiritual discernment of a person's countenance.

Why should you do this?

  1. Because it enables you to discern the spiritual disposition of a person;

  2. Because it enables you to discern prayer needs for a person;

  3. Because It enables you to counsel a person in need of spiritual advice; and

  4. Because it sharpens your awareness of the needs and concerns of those you come in contact

People of God, for all of the evil that you are witnessing in the spirit realm, cry tears.  Knowing that what you see manifested here on this earth and in the world must first spring forth from the spiritual realm, take NOTE. Shine the spotlight of God's eye on what you are SEEing, and go into your prayer closets (inside your spirit), and stir up the gifts within you that will invest an anointing upon you by the hand of God that will effectuate a Godly “change” in this world and in the earth.

As a vessel of God, ask God in prayer what it is that He has “called” you to do in this day and hour that we are living in on this earth, and in this world.

Believers are not left to their own resources to cope with problems. Even when you do not know

"Don't get it twisted, I've got backup!”

by Ordained

Have you ever seen the little guy that gets treated poorly? Or the woman who gets no respect in an environment full of chauvinistic men? Or the one who gets no respect because they don't have as much money as the greedy in a room full of economic gluttons? Really, think about that for a second...

Haven't you ever witnessed a person being bullied for whatever godforsaken reason a person (or group of persons) think is rational and acceptable behavior?

Well I've got news for them – God doesn't like it one bit.

If you ever find yourself in this predicament, use the title of this message – whip it out, and tell them, “Don't get it twisted, I've got backup!”

"What the EYE can SEE”

[Expanded Message]

by Ordained

Isaiah 32:3 ~  and Amplified Bible (Comparative Scriptures)

  • King James Version ~ "And the eyes of them that see shall not be dim, and the ears of them that hear shall hearken."

  • Amplified Bible ~ "Then the eyes of those who see will not be closed or dimmed, and the ears of those who hear will listen."

SEEing through God's eyes is a gift. Visions and Dreams from God are a precious “gift”. The Visions and Dreams God gives are about you, the world around you, and God's intended plans for you personally, as well as for all of God's people. All have eyes to see, but many SEE not...

There have been many a time when God has shown

Flourish like palm trees!”

by Ordained

[Message Three]

Psalm 92:13-14 ~ Amplified Bible (AMP)

13 Planted in the house of the Lord, they shall flourish in the courts of our God.

14 [Growing in grace] they shall still bring forth fruit in old age; they shall be full of sap [of spiritual vitality] and [rich in the] verdure [of trust, love, and contentment].

You know palm trees are known for their long life. Can you imagine being as the palm tree planted in the house of the Lord?

To flourish like palm trees means to stand tall and to live long. The cedars of Lebanon grew to 120 feet in height and up to 30 feet in circumference. Thus, they were solid, strong, and immovable.

The psalmist saw Believers as upright, strong, and unmoved by the winds of

Come on into the FAITH ROOM...

Here you'll find Scriptures on faith in a parallel/comparative fashion. Be sure to take time to study the Scriptures, and share your notes here in the comment section with us.

Todays Scripture (August 26th, 2011):

HEBREWS 11:6

AMPLIFIED BIBLE (AMP)

6  But without faith it is impossible to please and be satisfactory to Him. For whoever would come near to God must [necessarily] believe that God exists and that He is the rewarder of those who earnestly and diligently seek Him [out].

Douay-Rheims 1899 American Edition (DRA)

6   But without faith it is impossible to please God. For he that cometh to God, must believe that he is, and is a rewarder to them that seek him.

Journal of Faith by Ordained

"And Jesus, replying, said to them, Have faith in God [constantly].” ~ MARK 11:22 (AMPLIFIED BIBLE)

If you have been following along with us in the Journal of Faith by Ordained, you will remember that our 2nd message focused on MARK 11:22-26, out of the King James Version of the Bible. [The Life Application Bible - KJV].

Today, we will look at these same verses in the AMPLIFIED BIBLE...

Mark 11:20-26

AMPLIFIED BIBLE (AMP)

20   In the morning, when they were passing along, they noticed that the fig tree was withered [completely] away to its roots.

21   And Peter remembered and said to Him, Master, look! The fig tree which You doomed has withered away!

22   And Jesus, replying, said to them, Have faith in
