I am frozen light in manifestation.
What you see is the stuff of stars!
I am atman in the fields of maya.
There are universes within me
shining so brightly!
Awakening!
Light of the Divine in my heart!
Light of the Divine
in the cave of Brahma!
The violet flame pouring through
the thousand petalled lotus
renews me, transforms me!
The golden light of the central sun
vibrates, pulsates within my brain,
my subtle bodies!
Chakras activate and awaken!
The very cells and dna of my body
radiate the light of the Divine!
Like a wild fire all becomes awakened energy!
Tat tvam asi! I am that!
I am life! I am resurrection!
Dissolving into light I embrace my I Am nature!
Dissolving into light I know my oneness with all that is!
I am bliss incarnate!
The song of all creation sings in me and through me!
Om Jai Jai Maa!

With tenderness and gratitude
I welcome your coming,
my Beloved.
My heart blossoms with love.

The morning dawns full of potential
The day is like a string of pearls
Now and now and now and now
Pearls running through my fingers
Each one complete and beautiful
The past is passed
The future but a dream
Feel the smoothness
See the luster of each awakening moment
Receive the day for the gift that it is
Remember the Giver with gratitude.

I thought I walked alone
circling the rut worn path of sorrow
over and over again.
Then, in that broken, vulnerable place
in my heart
you gently entered in.
You took my hand in the darkness
and step by step
we walked toward the dawn.
Now, we walk together in the light.
My heart swells with love for you.
You are love
and you have transformed me
into love.
We have already walked far
together.
This is a new and unknown place.
I’m not who I thought I was.
I don’t know who I am becoming.
This I do know,
I don’t walk alone.
You know the road
and this is enough for me.
“I will go where you lead me.
I will hold your people in my heart.”
Thank you Goddess, for guiding my every step.
You are my light!

I’m a bird in the air
flying through the vast sky that is God,
I’m a fish in the sea
immersed in an ocean of love,
I’m a tree, roots growing deep
in the soil of God’s nurturing,
I’m a flame burning bright
lighting the darkness,
I’m the gentle rays of the sun at dawn,
consciousness awakening,
I’m the waves, laughing
as they crash upon the shore,
ever returning to MotherOcean.
I’m not alone;
you too are all these things.
Together we return again and again
to our Loving Source.
We are life.

I attend church in a historic church. One of the oldest in Sacramento. Every Sunday I see a glorious leaded stained glass window of the Christ standing at the door and knocking to be let in. I love the beauty of this image but it struck me two weeks ago that there is something wrong with this image. My truth is that the Christ, the Buddha, Self has always been here within me. The Christ is knocking from within the door of my heart. Patiently waiting for me to unlock the door and let it out. It is in my power to open the door and let God's awesome love and grace be me in expression for all. Seeking for Spirit outside of myself is like the beggar that asked for alms all his life while he sat on an old battered box. One day a stranger passed by and asked him what was in the box. The beggar had never looked! When he opened the box it was full of gold. A treasure beyond his wildest dreams! So many times I am that beggar asking for a scrap of bread from God as though I were a stranger. Yet the whole time I was God's child! An heir of the universe! Thank you God, Goddess for living within me. Giving me life!

The Great Love of Mother Divine
During April we celebrate the Indian festival of Navaratri – the nine days of Mother Divine. Navaratri is a celebration of good over evil, wisdom over ignorance, when the gods in heaven created the Goddess Durga to kill the powerful demon king Mahishasur. The battle that followed between Durga and the demon lasted 9 days and 9 nights. Finally, on the tenth day, known as Victory Day, the Goddess killed the demon, saving the world from ignorance.
Navaratri is divided into three sets of three days each to invoke different aspects of the Divine Mother. On the first three days, the Mother is invoked as the archetypal energy of Maha Durga in order to destroy all our impurities, vices and defects. The next three days, the Mother is invoked as the giver of spiritual abundance in the form of Lakshmi Devi. The final three days are spent in worshipping the Mother as the goddess of wisdom and knowledge, Saraswati Devi. To have all-round success in life, we humbly seek the blessings of all three aspects of the Divine Mother.
This spring, Navaratri begins on April 6th. The simplest way for you to join this celebration is to chant the mantras of the Divine Mothers Durga, Lakshmi and Saraswati each day in your own home the Devi mantras are:
| Durga |
OM DUM MAHADURGAYEI NAMAHA | | Lakshmi |
OM SHRIM MAHALAKSHMIYE NAMAHA | | Saraswati |
OM AIM SARASWATIYE NAMAHA |

Our heart has a family. No distance here.At our side or across the worldwe are connected spirit to spirit, loving heart to loving heart. The eyes of the heartdoes not see race, religionor sexual orientation. Our hearts together pulse with lifefor a world of peacewhere diversity creates a beautifulmulticolored tapestryjoined together by the threadof our One Source. It is so easy to cherishthe one that looks, thinksand speaks as we do.The loving Source of Allcalls us to love with the same love, see through the same eyes of grace, cherish with the same careall of Spirit’s childrenwherever they arewhatever their appearance or beliefs.Far or near,we are one family of the One Loving Source!

We have walled away a great treasure of beauty and light within. We have listened so long to ego's lie, "There is danger behind the wall! You will lose everything and die if you breach the wall." No temporal thing lasts forever. In life's challenges and sorrow the wall begins to crack. Don't look away! See the light radiating from the cracks. Whatever it takes, breach the wall! Only here in this light do you become truly 'you'. Cast off the chrysalis! Be the butterfly!
