your journal posts are expressions of your "perfect" (whole) being... thanks for sharing! As I read your posts I was reminded of a book you might want to look for, The Spirituality of Imperfection (by Howard Kurtz, et al.)... it is very wise and joyous... Be Well! Backyardwithin |

Thank you for requesting my friendship. I am also a spiritual searcher, although I have settled back down to my Roman Catholic church of my youth. Why, because they are the only christians left that still belief in mysticism. If a priest really gave me hard questioning, they probably wouldn't let me back in, because I pick and choose my beliefs. Oh well, I am sure I am not alone. I am 51, and came up during the 60's and 70's, I have studied as many relegions as I could. My undergrad is in Cultural Anthropology, which entails studying all the relegions of other cultures. I believe in them all. I love to pray and meditate. I paint for freedom of spirit, I love Anne Rice, when I was little (7-10) I wanted to grow up to be a Vampire, I didn't quite get the whole undead drink blood thing then. I was precosious as they say, and was reading alot of Edgar Allen Poe at the time. Anyway, thanks for checking in. pat garrett |
