About Me:
www.godhatesrape.com
I consider myself a bard above all else. I sing, I dance, I drum, I write poetry and song lyrics. I've been on a pagan path ever since I was 16. I like the concept of a God and a Goddess very much. I've been studying shamanism for twenty years, predominantly Lakota, Celtic, and some aboriginal shamanism. I've had some training in counseling and psychology, and I advocate for rape survivors. I also do civil rights work for any underpriviledged people, predominantly women of all colors, and children. I follow Great Spirit and White Buffalo Calf Woman. I do believe in Jesus, but not the Bible. In my opinion, Jesus was following a shamanic path, and encouraged others to do the same. I know a fair amount about herbs and healing magick. I don't believe any magick happens without Goddess. I am an ordained Priestess.
I'm hoping to meet people of like mind (i.e. open minded). I used to have a web site at beliefnet, when they were still hosting them, and I like beliefnet.
I have published an autobiography. It is available for sale

I just wanted to stop by and say hi! Also say thank you for having a group like Christopagans! Still Im wondering what we could do to help it get going. I think a group like this would help others and myself not feel so, I dont know, stuck in the middle. I hope all is well with you and yours!
your journal posts are expressions of your "perfect" (whole) being... thanks for sharing!
As I read your posts I was reminded of a book you might want to look for, The Spirituality of Imperfection (by Howard Kurtz, et al.)... it is very wise and joyous...
