Status: MemberDescription: Hiya everyone god bless you all. I am firm believer in the power of prayer in healing the mind and body. Through the love of God we can truly get to know who we really are. The relationship with our God is such a personal journey of discovery and if you would like share your thoughts and experiences of how prayer has helped you to cope with life issues then please do so as I would welcome your experiences.

Name:Status: MemberDescription: Hi my name is Courtney, this is my very first attempt at getting a group together. I am a person with a disbility. I like to use People First language. I'd like this group to be a place where others like myself can go to to talk about their lives and get some support from each other in having a disbility, be it physical, learning or mental. A bit about myself: I have what's called a hidden disablity. Where some people have trouble reading, I read very well, for me it's reading my environment, which I have gotten better at.I also have very mild Cerebal Palsy. So that's about all I have to say.

Status: MemberDescription: Welcome! We're so glad that you've found our group. We are a a group of people who want to connect with others who also live with any kind of chronic illness or daily chronic pain. Oftentimes, people also have invisible disabilities. You may even have cancer. Anyone who wants to participate is welcome to join us and offer encouragement and inspiration. We are an off-shoot of Rest Ministries, Inc., the largest Christian organization that specifically serves the chronically ill. You can find out more about us at http://www.restministries.org . We also have a social networking site for "anything Rest Ministries related" at http://www.restministriessunroom.com . You can build your own page there and also find more people you have things in common with. I look forward to getting to know you and seeing how we can come together via BeliefNet. Blessings, Lisa Copen
