56 yo Crone...just enjoy being able to talk to others of like faith, belief, etc.
Have a background in studying mainly the Christian Bible, Celtic and Egyptian Paganism. I was a non-denominational lay minister for several years.
I'm so glad to have been led to Paganism. It has answered so many questions, plus giving me insight into a whole new life.
My main belief or spiritual path is to make a positive life for myself and those I love. To impact the earth in a good way and to draw positive energy for healing of Mother Earth.
No, I am not a "fluffy bunny," but find that remaining positive, for the most part, helps me to live a more stable life. I am always open to learn what others believe in and think that we can overcome prejudices through education. I have taught the basics of Wicca/Paganism to several and would love to teach again, but also like learning.
I believe in living as "Greenly" as possible. We dry and can most of the organic vegetables and fruits we glean from farmer's markets and friends. We live in a bus.....yes, I said bus. We have lived in our present, converted school bus for over three years. This year we are upgrading to an MCI tour bus. We will have much more storage and about 5 more feet of living space. We utilize solar panels, 12-volt electricity, and are planning on converting the engine for vegetable oil instead of gas or diesel.
I'm a native cheesehead/Packer fan. My one cat came from southern California as a wild kitten that we snagged from a 3-M plant we delivered to. Samwise weighs 23 lbs and is the most loving, smartest, sweetest cat I have had in my 56 years. And I have had many. Chloe came to us via a college student that couldn't keep her anymore. She is sweet, also, but has a very weird personality....fun, but weird. They are both eight years old. In the beginning of August, a friend brought home two starving kittens. They barely had their eyes open. We bottle fed them and got them healthy. Cappachino Jave Hopper Enigma is the kitten I'm keeping. She/He, we are not sure yet and think it is a hermaphrodite, is now almost 6 months old (Jan 20, 2009). My friend is keeping the other kitten. She is named Raven Little Bird and is a handful. She loves running through the house.
