What does the Bible actually say about who is coming for the second advent of the anointed one?
Does it say in what isn't in parable from that it is or isn't Jesus?
How can we find who is to be the person of the second advent of chirst?
In Malachi 4:5-6 we find the following with the interpretations in [brackets].
5) Behold, I will send you Elijah [his birth name per Isaiah 49:1] the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD [what is commonly called the end of the world and great tribulation] : 6) And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers [return people to looking within themselves for truth, the work of a counselor and meaning of a name he will have], lest I come and smite the earth with a curse [a defender and also meaning of his name].
We have in Matthew 11:7-15 Jesus giving us a dialog on John the baptizer as being a prophetic type of Elijah. In verse 10 is written “For this is he, of whom it is written, Behold, I send my messenger before thy face, which shall prepare thy way before thee” which most people miss the words' meaning. Jesus is saying concerning the person John the baptizer is a type of, “I send my messenger before thy [Elijah's] face.”
He also said in verse 13, “For all the prophets and the law prophesied until John [Elijah].” Most Christians believe this is about biblical prophets and laws but, in fact, it means he will fulfill the position of every religion which expects the return of their sage. He will have "shape changing" abilities, after his manifestation, making him able to look like every person the different religions are looking for a return of their mesenger.
Elijah means “Almighty God Is I Am That I Am” and suggesting he is able to be whoever people are expecting him to be. He's to be the saint of all saint whenever he manifests according to Matthew 12:40, discarnate and spend 3 nights and 3 mornings in the ground before bringing the same body back to life. That means he could be OB (Out'a Body) more than 72 hours but in the earth for that long.
Remember Jesus’ words in Matther 28:19, “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.” Now look at the meaning of father’s name, YHVH, being I Am That I Am, the son’s name’s definition is I Am That I Am Saves and Elijah’s above, they all have one thing in common, I Am That I Am is a part of their names.
If we look at Jesus after his resurrection we see he disappeared (Luke 24:13-31) and appear at will (24:36), could be handled (24:39), entered locked rooms without going through doors (John 20:26) and ate as any man (21:13) making him a holy ghost when he ascended. Therefore, since Jesus only spent 2 nights and 1 day in the grave and Matthew say “the son of man” will spend 3 nights and 3 days in the earth, that prophecy has to be about Elijah who will shoulder the government as a holy ghost.
Read the whole Mountain of Tranfriguation story, Matthew 17:1-13, and we can interpret Jesus’ words in 11-13…
11 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Elijah truly shall first come, and restore all things.
12 But I say unto you, That Elijah is come already, and they knew him not, but have done unto him whatsoever they listed. Likewise shall also the Son of man suffer of them.
13 Then the disciples understood that he spake unto them of John the Baptist.
…to say Elijah is “the son of man” to suffer like John the baptizer. If we do we can also say Matthew 12:40’s “son of man” is also Elijah.
Therefore, by beginning at Malachi 4 and interpret the words of Jesus it presents Elijah as what is termed “the second coming of christ.” That’s especially true when we interpret Matthew 17:5 as I’ve inserted in [brackets]. “While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This [three] is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him [you should have heard Moses, now hear Jesus but you must hear Elijah when he comes].” By doing that we see the transfiguration is a New Testiment representation of Exodus 4:6-8. Thus, Elijah will fuflill all biblical prophecies Jesus didn't.
