I became a Baptist preacher in 1974 and upon preaching follow Jesus I felt I was a hypocrite telling others to do something I had not done. In 1976 I gave up my job with Southwestern Bell of Dallas, Texas, left my second wife and began this wandering life attempting to go into all of the world, a "new birth" requirement per John 3:8. community.beliefnet.com/natureboy_the0 I made it through 5 Provinces of Canada, 11 states of Mexico and Belize before being deported back into the USA. Here I have traveled 44 of the continental United States, most of them at least twice in. I Mostly travels on foot unless someone offers me a ride. In doing so, I became the prophet like unto Moses.As the prophet like unto Moses it became my responsibility to learn the laws governing man living in nature and prepare actual Israel to enter the millennium [like Moses who took historical Israel through the wilderness]. Then Yeshua [typed by Yeshua called Joshua] can "rapture" (John 14:1-3 & Acts 1:9) us to the actual promised land prepared for us. Enoch, Moses, Eliyehu, Melchisedec and Yeshua has ascended there in glorified bodies as proof of the rapture, and so will everyone entering the next plane of existence, called everlating life. Everyone who discarnates will only reincarnate into another civilization [lake of fire, Rev. 21's spiritual and Gen. 2-3's material] until purified from the mind of good and evil (Daniel 12:10). Then they will also have [or become] a prophet like Moses to prepare others for the millennium or Yeshua to take then to the next plane [unless they choose the lots of some others who have already ascended prior to civilization's end].

I appreciate your input on my post. I agree with you that Jesus is not coming literally back on this earth, but rather will anoint another person to fulfill the work of the second coming. Nevertheless, I believe Jesus is present spiritually supporting this work. Some of my previous posts go into this in more depth, but I believe that person is Reverend Sun Myung Moon.
I also agree that John the Baptist was a type of Elijah, which I will probably write about in a future post. It is an extremely important point for understanding what happened at Jesus' time.
I do disagree with you somewhat when you said what is important is the message, not the messenger, in regards to Jesus. It is true that for most of the prophets belief in the message was the central point. However, I think Jesus' case was different. Both the message and the messenger had to be believed. But I'll leave it there for now.
I read through the biblical passages you referred to. I think that you were saying that Isaiah 11:1-12 is referring to the coming of two messiahs. While I see how you could arrive at that interpretation, I'm not sure I agree completely. In any case, some Jews, including probably the Essenes, as witnessed in the Dead Sea scrolls, were waiting for two messianic figures to come simultaneously:a Davidic messiah and a priestly messiah. I believe it is highly likely that some Essenes viewed John the Baptist as the fulfillment of the priestly messiah, and at least some of them viewed that position as having precedence over the kingly messiah (Jesus).
