As I child I spent countless hours in the woods, revering the beauty of nature. I was fortunate enough to have a large woods in my backyard where I could pretend different things and I even remember thinking that a Lady only I could see was talking to me. Now I know that wasn't pretend.
The woods for me have always been a place of solace and discovery. As a teenager there was a town park within walking distance of my house and I would go off the trails and discover unknown pathways and watch the sun shine through the pines and create those streams of light that look like beams coming down from heaven.
Next came recycling, caring for the planet, long before it was popular. Maybe it was because I had a crush on John Denver but couldn't accept then that I was gay.
Today, I have been a practicing Pagan for 20 years. I began as Wiccan and remained so for much of my Pagan adult life, however, over time found that it was a stepping stone for me and that I had traversed its path as far as I could, so I awaited the gods and the universe to reveal to me the next part of my journey and Druidry became the path.
I came into this world with a love of reading, poetry, literature, fiction, writing, storytelling, and memorizing, all of which led to my receiving a Bachelor of Arts in English with a concentration in Writing.
