Finding Common Ground Between Muslims & Jews
This discussion grew out of professors Akbar Ahmed and Judea Pearl's shared concern about the deterioration of relationships between Muslim and Jewish communities. From April 28 to May 9, 2008, professors Ahmed and Pearl hosted this discussion and answered your questions about Muslim-Jewish relations. Their posts are scattered throughout the different threads seen below.
Though the professors are no longer hosting this discussion, this group remains active. Please continue to ask your questions of each other and voice your thoughts and concerns about all topics pertaining to Muslim-Jewish relations and interfaith dialogue. Professors Ahmed and Pearl continue to travel the country hosting their interfaith dialogues. They have founded the Daniel Pearl dialogue for Muslim-Jewish understanding with the conviction that reconciliation between the faiths can be achieved through frank and respectful dialogue.
