So I’ve decided to create this site in order to help beginners get started on the right track with reviews on guitar lessons.

In addition to that, I will be adding more information-packed articles that will cover guitar tips, guitar accessories that you might like, and guitar software that  will help you take the shortest learning curve possible.

So you've bought a new guitar? Did you just attempted to play a song and found out that you're light years away from playing like your idol? I'm sure you've discovered by now that playing guitar is a lot harder than it seems? If you answered "yes", then join the club!

You and thousands of other guitar players all go through the same hurdles when they first picked up the guitar. Playing the guitar CAN be very tough but there are ways you can shorten the learning curve and learn without incurring bad habits, and this will result in you improving at the speed of light.

The best way is to begin by self-learning through guitar tutorials. Guitar tutorials can provide newbies and also intermediate players the crucial foundational skill sets required to become a better, more capable player later on.

There is an endless variety of guitar tutorials and you can find them in any good music shops as well as online. How should you pick the right lesson for yourself? This is a matter of preference and it is recommended that you try a few different instructional courses and find one that clicks with you and then stick to it.

The guitar instructional course you selected should be relatively inexpensive or free, and lessons should be clearly explained. Preferably, it should also contain video clips as opposed to just reading from guitar tabs. The videos will make learning a lot more interesting and you will learn a much faster this way.

If you find that the instructor speaks about stuff that you don't understand most of the time, then that tutorial is either too advanced for you or the instructor isn't a very good teacher. Move on to the next course! Don't waste your time because you will not be learning anything useful this way.

To learn the guitar properly, you will need to be dedicated in terms of practice time. Practice along with the guitar tutorials and don't over-practice initially. Instead, spread your training sessions out into shorter sessions, say around an hour a day. This is important, as short and consistent training sessions allows your body and brain to absorb the information.

Whichever guitar instructional guides you choose, they won't work for you unless you train consistently! Put what you have learned into action and you will notice a drastic improvement in your guitar skills within the next few months. Just remember to stay focused and take baby steps, as attempting to play what's too advanced for you will only lead you to build bad habits. Bad habits are very hard to remove later on. Begin with good habits as a foundation and you will find that learning guitar will not only come quicker to you but also be much easier.
