I'm 61 and some days when I look in the mirror I'm shocked because I still see myself as I feel inside; about 45 years old. When people respond to me as an older lady, "maam", it always shocks me a bit. Putting makeup on though, it a whole different story - all the new lines in the face seem to be exacerbated by trying to cover them up! Audiegayle |

I am 51! Some days I still feel 20 . I don't think I'd want to be again , though. I am enjoying life to the fullest and this also helps , I take Communion to people in a nursing home and one lovely lady there was 104 on her last birthday(no,I'm not joking!), she commented that it was her birthday and mine was very near her date of birth , she asked , "How old will you be?" , when I told her my age ,she said "Oh,you're still a baby!" Of couse I replied "What?,Say that again!":) So,if you're ever feeling old,go volunteer at a nursing home. It's good for them AND you! Clare1 |

This is my last year of my 40's. I am in awe of how good I feel for 49 and am curious of when i will become over the hill. I do not dress matronly and commonly am thought to be in my 30's. Inside its all the same. The lines on my face reflect brief encounters with destiny and remind me of my strength and ability to overcome obstacles.
