Easy does it. One day at a time. Those 10 days count. Remember that. Call someone, write me, journal, pray, and be compassionate with yourself. God Bless You, Sherry
A month later, back again...I only lasted 10 days...now I am shaky, scared, and my husband and I are not speaking...I pray this terrible addiction will go into remission for good...It will only be by God's grace and mercy..I fail every time...

I am also a recovering alcoholic since 1979; which is my sober birthday. I did have to move beyond addiction to a new way of life in Jesus Christ. He was the answer for me and after I became a born again Christian the recovery work just began. I had to continue the good work on myself through Church, prayer, Women's aglow meetings, 12 Step group meetings, A.A. and Alanon meetings. I am grateful that their is a way to keep on going in sobriety and recovery work. This is just a short preview of what happened for me; thank-you dear LORD for not giving up on me and giving me hope and faith to continue.
