I am a Catholic, faithful to the magisterial teachings of the Church. I am a convert. I love my faith. I have wonderful relationships with a number of people from different faiths, and I have found wisdom in all of them. I strongly believe that religious dialogue is necessary to promote peace and understanding, but dialogue should never come with the price of sacrificing doctrine that we believe is true. We can learn from each other, we can (and should) present to each other what we believe is true- but never stoop to saying "All religions are the same..." because then we have lost what is most essential.
