About Me:
Very happily remarried mom of 5. I was widowed in 1996 with five children under 15 yrs. of age. The youngest is now 17 and the oldest is almost 28. Two are in the U.S. Military and one is signed up for college (finally). I am a writer by nature and love of words. I am a cook, by desire and love of feeding His sheep. I am a nurtuerer by choice; I am my brothers' keeper. I am a full time college student, learning/training to organize a restaurant and run it.

I believe
,
firmly
,
that God sends messages and messengers constantly .. if we only learned to see them and hear them with our hearts instead of relying only upon our eyes.

Prayer. Singing Hymns. Visiting with Him; sharing my day
,
my struggles
,
my fears

,

Tell Us More About Your Faith:
The Apostle's Creed sums it up well. I believe most assuredly in the Holy Trinity and that it can be readily proven in the bible. But more
,
I believe greatly in the presence of His Holy Spirit and that sometimes
,
many times He calls upon others to... "the wind blows where it will"
,
to act as His emmisaries. I believe that our entire lives
,
each individual life is a prayer and what you do
,
how you speak
,
is part of that prayer. I believe firmly in the mercy of God. While I am convinced of His justice
,
I am completely faithful in His mercy. I am a firm believer in Jesus
,
His only begotten Son and Our Lord. I am a devotee to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. And while as a Catholic I embrace the idea
,
notion and spiritual aspect of His Blessed Mother Mary
,
I try to always
,
while loving her greatly
,
do as she instructed the stewards at the wedding in Cana when she said
,
"Do as He tells you." While I love her deeply and sometimes long for the heavenly motherly arms of the mother of my Lord
,
I try to remember to keep the focus on Jesus
,
as she too always pointed the way to He. I believe her example .. is how we are to use our nurturing instincts in loving God
,
by loving others and caring for them.
