Greetings Michael. Just stopping by to say hi. Hope that you had a nice Thanksgiving. I ate lots of turkey and stuffing. I hope that all has been well with you. It seems like we haven't crossed paths much lately. How long have we know each other here? Do you remember?
Anyway, just wanted to touch base. God bless you, my friend.
Peace Always - Mark
Greetings Michael. Thanks for adding me as a friend. I am a somewhat traditional Catholic. I scored 80 on the Catholic score quiz. I consider myself a Eucharistic Catholic. Mass and the Eucharist are an important part of my faith. I do read the Bible and go to Bible studies but to me the 4 gospels are the most important part of the Bible. I don't believe in a literal interpretation of the Bible so I am not a fundamentalist. I have a variety of friends here and I even though I am not progressive I feel that I have learned a lot from the progressives and feel a kinship to all Catholics and also to some of my friends of other faiths. I feel that our Church is a big tent and I think the diversity of our faith is a beautiful thing. We have Catholics of all races and nationalities, Catholics of all orientations and have been blessed by converts who have come from many faith traditions and have greatly enriched our faith. I have been impressed by Pope Benedict XVI because he seems to be a man who wants to spread Christ's love to all. He truly wants to be a Pope for all Catholics. We are called to love each other as brothers and sisters in Christ and I think the Pope is trying to lead by example in this regard. God bless you my friend.
Peace - Mark
