I joined Beliefnet when I was converting to Judaism several years ago and was greatly helped by posts on the old conversion forum. Now I'm an active member of my synagogue, attend most services, sing in the choir, and teach in the Hebrew school. I appreciate the discussions here as much as I do the lively Shabbat morning Torah studies at shul.
Religion has always been fascinating to me, and I always want to learn more. I had a dream early in my conversion process about a library where the great luminaries of Judaism stood around a lamplit table in discussion. Behind them, rows on rows of bookshelves and study tables stretched endlessly, inviting me to read. I knew I had come to the right place.
