First time i felt my vote meant something

    Wednesday, November 5, 2008, 4:39 AM [General]

I was woke up by my father yesterday morning, at 7:00 AM. Got dressed, and waited for my mother to get home so we could all vote. This is actually  the first time i really felt my vote meant something. I was apart of history, I helped the first Black man become president. I have a lot of hope for this country. I really do. I always heard that people have to hit rock bottom before they are able to get back up. In this case I believe the same for the United States. I do not belive the United States has hit rock bottom. I do belive we have a ways to go. I do belive though  that we did need a different type of president that would try to help change the country, cause the same old views were no longer working. Granted I know that the House is actually in charge of what gets past, but the president can at least put up the bills that will be voted on. Also if we are in an emergency the president can decide what to do, or what needs changing, and change it. I have hope for this country. Things will not happen fast, everything takes time. It will be a very slow process to change certain things. All we can do is hope and pray, that the Lord  guides the ones that do govern us in the direction we would like them to go, as long as it is Gods will. I also pray for Obama's safty. I am scared for him. I am so afraid some skin head or some militias that is associate with racist ignorant people will make an attempt on his life. So I pray, and I ask all of you to pray with me...

Dear Lord please protect Obama, may no harm come to him, and help him lord, give him strength when he needs it, give him the wisdom to know, and the compassion to love. Guide him Lord to be the best that he can be, and above all please keep him and his family safe, Your will be done. Amen.

    thank you

    Rambling thoughts

    Monday, November 3, 2008, 12:05 PM [General]

I should write something, i feel like should anyway. Wasn't a goodnight for me, no sleep, and in pain, usually pain pills will make me sleepy, but not last night. It is 11:22 in the morning and i am feeling wired instead of tired.I finished Luke in the Bible. I think I like the  writings by Luke. They seem to be written different. There seems to be more information in Luke with  tiny things, then  what there was with any-other writers of the Bible. I am also thinking if i remember correctly correct me if i am wrong please. I  suffer from short term memory lost, But i think Luke was also a historian and a Doctor? That is why  his writings  seems a little more  descriptive, and little extra tid-bits of information.

Also was wondering when it  comes to the Crucifixion of Christ, when your reading it in the Bible, do ever want to cry?

or am I just being hormonal or both, laughs to myself there.

I am thankful, that I was not alive then , and have to see the Crucifixion. I honestly do not think I could stomach it. Sometimes when I read the Bible and I feel and think that the events in the Bible are constantly playing  over and over again, but with different names of people and figure heads. For example the wars, religious persecutions, same countries it seems like also the same religions, etc. It is like no one has learned yet from the past and History is just repeating itself.

the only thing that has not repeated itself was the Crucifixion, and revelations. Which i do believe we are some where in the stages of Revelations right now. Exactly where i am not really sure, But i have noticed the weather, and the climate changes, the tidal waves etc. Many people dieing of natural disasters, and  countries still fighting.

The Myians  last calender date was December 21, 2012,  For some reason they were able to counculate  each day of the year, the months and seasons. Sometimes to be honest, I think perhaps  the end will be on that day, but the catch is no one will no what time in the day it will happen. Like it was told in the one will know the exact  time all this is to occur. Perhaps Jesus was being technical here. Maybe He meant no one will know the exact hour or minutes or seconds.,,,,hmm

    Take Time

    Thursday, October 30, 2008, 12:09 PM [General]

In this day and age everyone seems to be in a rush. People are too busy to pay attention to the important things. Some people  have gone through a panic attack, just because of the time. Either they are running late, or they are too early. It seems like human beings all over the place are always concerned about time, which causes them stress and unhappiness. When I feel like that, when something is  going to slow, or the time bothers me. I look to my bedroom wall. I have a poem in a picture frame that brings me to much comfort and I would like to share it with everyone.

     Take time to think-

It is the source of all power.

    Take time to read-

It is the fountain of wisdom.

    Take time to play-

It is the source of perpetual youth.

    Take time to be quiet-

It is the opportunity to seek God.

    Take time to be aware-

It is the opportunity to help others.

Take time to love and be loved-

    It is God's greatest gift.

    Take time to laugh-

It is the music of the soul.

    Take time to be friendly-

It is the road to happiness.

    Take time to dream-

It is what the future is made of.

    Take time to pray-

It is the greatest power on earth.

    Take time to give-

It is too short a day to be selfish.

    Take time to work-

It is the price of success.

There is a time for everything.

Practicing Gods gift of choice by Voting

    Wednesday, October 29, 2008, 12:06 PM [General]

As an American, it is my duty to vote. There are so many countries, that do not have the privileges( can't spell) to choose who will be president, or political leader. One vote can make a difference in this world. I also believe being able to vote, is a gift from God. Back then People had no choice but now we do. I also think, the people who don't vote, lose there right to complain about what is going on in the USA, why well like i said before one vote makes a difference, and that person who didn't vote could have help change the United States for the better. God did give us the right to have a choice, by voting it also lets us practice it. When it comes to the president, This is another  time to practice prayer and to listen to God for who might be the right person for the job.371d36d75e05eda735858f8e467be99c
