Happy Labor Day. Let's remember those troops in Afghanistan who do not get a holiday from fear, who strive to accomplish a near-impossible mission, and are away from their friends and loved ones. We pray that, soon, all of our troops will be able to take a permanent holiday from Afghanistan, put away their firearms, and return home to their own backyard BBQ, and their own TVs with the Labor Day game on... Amen.

A PRAYER FOR PEACE We praise God that our involvement in Iraq has finally come to an end. We praise God for allowing those stationed in Iraq to return home. We fevently pray that our involvement in Afghanistan will also end soon, and those troops, too, may return to their families. In Jesus' Name we pray. Amen

Hello - I am Sus50 and am privileged to be a part of this important group. It is near to my heart. Although I do not personally have a member in harms way, fighting for our country, I cannot express the love and thankfulness I feel for you and your families. I would like to help any way I can if just to be there and let you know you are all appreciated. We are in a turbulent world and often it is difficult to see the light of day; but just know there are those of us who realize the sacrifices you have taken and appreciate you more than you know. I am fighting depression and hopefully will make it through "the dark room" as I call it, but I am here for anyone who needs to be heard. God bless. Susie

Just joined this group and happy to have found it! My dad was in the navy a long time ago and my boyfriend (unofficial fiance) is enlisted in the marine corps. Some delays going off to basic due to med records but it should get waived (hopefully). Either way, proud of him for wanting to serve and always doing his best, and to all other military people, family, and friends-thanks

Welcome Dunamus3, BNET groups just don't seem to be what they were when the "New Platform" took effect, but this one is a worthy one, and I'd love to get this group active again.
