I grew up in a Christian Family. And though i have learned the values of Christianity from childhood, i've also seen the pitfalls. Many professing believers use the "religious" facade to appear good outside but the hearts are rotten.
Christianity is not about looking good outside - it should be in the heart. Christ's sacrifice had done it all and our own good works are nothing. We do good for love not for boasting. We follow Christ to show our love - not to scare people of going to hell, while we do our "things" in hiding.
Christianity is a way of live. A way of love and compassion. A way of caring and not putting oneself above another.
So many good laws, but goodness does not follow. This is because it didn't start from the heart. So we cause another to fall rather than push them up.
God has been good. The reason for His goodness is to save us. Not to oppress. Lets live a life of compassion. Not a "Holier than Thou" spirit and we will attract more souls to repentance.
