Dropping Into Love (Exercise) Allow yourself to imagine your human field of consciousness as the choppy waves on the surface of the ocean. Let this be the image of your thoughts and feelings, that disturb you or distract you from the presence of love and peacefulness. Now imagine yourself letting go of the surface and "drop down" from the surface of those waves into the depths of your body and feeling center, into the depths of the ocean, where all is quiet and still. You can breath there, because this ocean is an infinite ocean of God's loving, Spirit's presence of loving. Come to sink into this depth, deep inside. There is nothing that you have to do there, just feel, just open and feel the love that surrounds you and that fills you in this depth of Divine Spirit's love. Let yourself soak in all that is there for you. Let yourself receive. |
