Finding this site was another welcomed step along this journey.  Several years ago I began to explore beyond the staple and stated faith of my youth.  As life began to happen, a simple head knowledge and belief left an enormous hole in my life which I proceeded to fill with stuff and alcohol.  Upon finding the bottom of that run, I happened across some Buddhist text and began to read.  It was not at all what I had been "told" it was.  While in recovery I began to follow the AA program and then fate would have it, I got a copy of "A Path and a Practice", a translation of the Tao by William Martin.  It seemed as though the two books were companions of each other.  Several years down the road now,  The hole in my life is filled now knowing who and what I am and always was, but never knew it.........I welcome new friends of all faiths.  Thank You for viewing my profile.
